On the palate, tight and precise, with flavours of verbena, chamomile, and kiwifruit. Quite young still, but this should age beautifully. Our first vintage working with clay vessels, and the results are fascinating: the giare provide focus and clarity, while the barrels lend richness and opulence. The combination seems better than either component on its own.
